We place a strong emphasis on Spiritual, Moral, Social, and Cultural (SMSC) development at Moorfield Learning Centre. Our curriculum is designed to enhance Learners' SMSC skills through various activities and initiatives.
Spiritual Development: We provide opportunities for learners to explore their beliefs, values, and sense of identity. Through reflective practises, mindfulness exercises, and discussions on ethics and morality, we encourage our learners to develop a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them.
Moral Development: Ethics and values are integrated into our curriculum to help learners develop a strong moral compass. We engage young people in discussions on social justice, empathy, and responsibility, fostering a sense of right and wrong in their decision-making.
Social Development: Collaboration, teamwork, and communication skills are nurtured through group projects, community service initiatives, and extracurricular activities. We encourage our young people to respect diversity, build positive relationships, and contribute positively to society.
Cultural Development: Our curriculum celebrates diversity and promotes cultural awareness. Through multicultural studies and global awareness projects, we aim to broaden learners' horizons and foster a deep appreciation for different cultures and traditions.
